What will happen in a Breathwork Session?
The main focus of a Breathwork Session will of course be on your breath. Gentle physical exercises, inspired by Somatic Movement etc., will mostly be done while lying down. These exercises support the physical opening of your anatomy to enable the expansion of your breath, preparing your subtle body for experiencing and increasing the flow of life force through its structures. Breath awareness is a key to understanding your breathing habits and to free your breath back into a natural flow. I will guide your through certain breathing excercises that are based on your needs and your goals.
Is Breathwork for me?
Depending on your needs, a Breathwork Session can be nourishing, relaxing, detoxing, activating, or freeing. Breathwork can help you if you suffer from fatigue and it promotes deep and healthy sleep. Due to the close connection between our breath & our emotions, Breathwork can have a deeply healing and liberating effect when it comes to emotional topics such as loss, separation etc.
Exercises selected specifically for your condition strengthen those muscles that facilitate the breathing process, which improves the quality of your breath. Breathwork has a positive impact on your cardiovascular system and your nervous system. This is your connection with spirit.
